About Us

Mercy Seat Ministries is a Messiah-centered and family-oriented congregation that is dedicated to serving, studying, worshipping and glorifying Yahweh in all we do as we walk out our faith in every aspect of our lives. We are not associated with any man-made doctrine, but strive to learn, obey, and teach the commandments, statutes, and judgments laid out for us in scripture from Genesis to Revelation. We are to make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things commanded by Yeshua (Jesus).

We are the children of God who were bought with a price through the body and shed blood of Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah and are grafted into him as the root, who is the way, the truth, and the life and is the only way to the father. Thus, through Yeshua, we are now part of the whole house of Israel, which is and will always be the only chosen nation set apart for God. There is no portion of scripture that has been done away with, only that which is now more full of meaning through Yeshua our Messiah who is what all of scripture points to and is about.

The statements of belief below outline our current understanding of the precepts of our faith based on the required minimum of 2 or 3 witnesses in scripture. However, we have teachable hearts and as the Holy Spirit, who lives within us, teaches us and opens our eyes and understanding to the deep and profound things of YHWH through his scriptures we have no issue with setting aside our biases and re-aligning our perspectives accordingly.

We encourage anyone with a heart toward God who is searching for an unadulterated truth and desiring to worship our creator in spirit and truth to come join us as we worship and experience God in a way that he prescribes to us through the scriptures.

Statements of Belief

We Believe ...

The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the divinely inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God (YHWH).
YHWH is revealed to us in many ways, but there is only one (echad) YHWH.
Jesus Christ (Yeshua' haMashiach) is the only begotten Son of YHWH, who was born of a virgin by the Holy Spirit (Ruach haKodesh).
Yeshua' is the Word of YHWH that was manifested in the flesh. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Salvation is by only by YHWH’s grace through faith in Yeshua, and that only by the shedding of Yeshua’s blood is there remission of sins. As the Way, the Truth, and the Life, the only way to the Father is through Yeshua.
Yeshua is the Messiah prophesied about throughout the Old Testament.
Yeshua was crucified, dead and buried. After 3 days and 3 nights he was resurrected.
After his resurrection, Yeshua ascended into heaven and is seated as the Right Hand of the Father and as our High Priest.
YHWH sent his Holy Spirit (Ruach haKodesh) to be united with us, to teach us, to comfort us and to empower us.
Our baptism in the Ruach haKodesh is manifested in us individually through various gifts Holy Spirit and which will all produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
YHWH has chosen only one nation to be his people and that nation is the whole house of Israel.
As followers and disciples of Yeshua, Jews and Gentiles alike can be grafted into the whole house of Israel through him.
Yeshua' haMashiach will come back and gather the whole house of Israel that is scattered among the nations and set up his kingdom on earth to rule and reign for 1000 years.
The Law (Torah) is designed to provide teaching and instructions and to bless the followers of YHWH. We obey Torah out of our love for YHWH, not for salvation or any other reason.
The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week as defined in the 4th Commandment, which is from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday.
